Additional Cooperative Program giving will place 12–14 new IMB missionaries on the field.
Each additional missionary on the field represents more unreached people groups hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The Cooperative Program resources the discipleship pipeline that keeps a new believer growing for the rest of their life — with training and support.
Additional Cooperative Program giving could increase the number of interns/residencies across our state from 60 to 300, and support Baptist Collegiate Ministries in Tennessee, a primary pipeline for ministry leader development.
Growth in Cooperative Program giving expands the number of new churches Tennessee Baptists can help plant across Tennessee – in the fast-growing suburbs where there’s no Baptist witness yet, and in the small towns everyone assumes are already reached.
When a tornado levels a Tennessee town, or a hurricane devastates an area a thousand miles away, trained TBDR volunteers are often on-site within hours — funded, equipped, and ready because churches gave together long before the storm ever formed.
Year one, a quarter of one percent.
At the end of four years, an overall increase of one percent.
It doesn’t feel large at first, but the impact is profound in the end.
It becomes a pastor who is connected and supported for HEALTHY MINISTRY.
It becomes a church member with an active plan for SPIRITUAL MATURITY.
It becomes a child who has a home and a GOSPEL FOUNDATION.
It becomes a parent who has a BIBLICAL VISION for their family.
It becomes a church with GROWING LEADERS called to ministry.
It becomes a city with EFFECTIVE, MULTIPLYING CHURCHES.
…Until EVERY TENNESSEAN hears the Gospel.
