Reset is an annual opportunity to unplug and return to the settings as designed by the creator. Like a computer or electronic device, sometimes we need to unplug, albeit briefly, and be recalibrated to our factory settings.
Do you ever feel lost in ministry? Like you’ve lost your way, lost your heart for what you’re doing? You haven’t wandered far — you’ve just gotten lost in the busyness of it all. You need a reset.
Come aside for a few hours. Unplug from the demands, the needs, the to-do list. Jesus calls you like He did His disciples in Mark 6:31 — spend some time with Him, with friends, and with the Master’s voice.
Maybe you’re like David when he prayed, “Restore to me the joy of my salvation” (Psalm 51:12). Your joy has been sapped by demands, expectations, and hurts. But Jesus came to give us abundant joy — and that is still the factory setting for a man of God.
At each Reset gathering, we focus on the Minister’s Spiritual and Emotional Health. How do we stay spiritually vibrant? How do we stay emotionally well when the demands keep coming?
