Shop Springs Baptist Church, Lebanon, celebrated its largest VBS attendance in church history this year. “With a rich history that dates back to our church’s formation in 1882, this is certainly a milestone worthy of praise to our Lord,” said pastor Addison Rogers. “It serves as proof that outreach and ministry efforts such as Vacation Bible School are still incredibly vital to our communities.” Even more exciting than their attendance, were the seven decisions for Christ this year. Their VBS theme was Lifeway’s Illumination Station.

Dwayne McBee, center, was ordained at Bethel Baptist Church, Morristown, after being called as associate pastor. Pictured with McBee are pastor Dannie Bell, left, and Harvest Field 6 leader Gene Nelson who also participated in the ordination.
