Baptist and Reflector
FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches contributed $2,478,697 through the Cooperative Program in February.
For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $11,515,424. The amount is $275,046 or 2.33 percent below what was given during the same time frame last year.
The amount is $613,219 or 5.06 percent behind budget needs after the first four months of the 2025-26 budget year.
“The winter storms in January had an expected impact — especially in middle and West Tennessee — on Cooperative Program giving,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. “But, in March, we have already started rebounding from that very sharp and noticeable deficit at the conclusion of February.”
Davis said he is optimistic the recent upward trend will continue in the months ahead.
“Thanks to the faithful and consistent giving of Tennessee Baptists, we plow ahead, supporting effective ministry all across our state and around the world,” he said. B&R
