Ministers’ wives will experience three days, two nights backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. You will experience 5 miles each day of the seclusion of the backcountry of the Cherokee and Pisgah National Forest. We will begin our journey on the Appalachian Trail on Green Corner Rd just off of I40. Our first night we will stay on Snowbird Mountain at 4249 ft. Snowbird is a open bald mountain top with a spectacular view of the night sky. Day two we will hike to Browns Gap at 3500 ft. This campsite is under a full canopy of trees that will give you the experience of camping in the backcountry. We will end our trip with a 360-degree view of the Appalachian Mountains on Max Patch. At 4,629 ft in elevation, you will experience breath-taking views that you can see God’s fingerprint in His creation. During this trip you will experience 3 days of beautiful scenery, no cell phones and good fellowship with other ministers’ wives.
