Why does our church participate in the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions? It’s simple. Because we love Tennessee. And any way you slice it, Tennessee is a mission field. We have to look at the needs all around us. We want to have the same heart for Tennessee that Nehemiah had for Jerusalem.

“When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.”

When we look at Tennessee, we mourn over spiritual lostness. It’s the greatest problem we have, and we might be tempted to say, it’s just impossible. But with God, all things are possible.
