Happy 125th Anniversary, Tennessee Woman's Missionary Union! 2013 marks a significant year for missions education in Tennessee. TN WMU has been a faithful standard bearer for missions discipleship and involvement since 1888. As we gather this spring for Missions Get-Together, Connection and the Annual Meeting, we will celebrate our heritage, connect our present, and commit our future to fulfill the Great Commission. National WMU President, Debby Akerman, is coming to celebrate with us. Consider this your personal invitation to meet us in Gatlinburg to commemorate 125 years of WMU in Tennessee.
Blessings,
Candy Phillips,
Executive Director-Treasurer

The Sonflowerz – Worship Leader
Colorado Springs, CO
British-American sister duo, The Sonflowerz, sing with a passion to bring truth and hope through their music. Elissa and Becca Leander began their musical collaboration in 1999, leading worship for their small youth group in Colorado Springs. Together with their parents, they began traveling and sharing songs – starting with the United Kingdom, their mother’s birthplace. Their songs speak about the beauty and value God has put inside of us, even if we can’t see it ourselves. www.Sonflowerz.com

Our ministry project this year will benefit Christian Women's Job Corps and Christian Men's Job Corps. CWJC/CMJC seeks to provide a Christian environment in which women and men in need are equipped and encouraged for new life in Jesus, and where they gain job skills for employment in order to enhance their lives and the lives of their families. Currently, there are 24 CWJC/CMJC ministry sites in Tennessee. Each year, this ministry equips over 1,500 people in Tennessee for life and employment.
We are collecting postage stamps, copy paper, gift cards (any denomination to Wal*Mart, OfficeMax, Staples or Kroger), journals, writing tablets and paperback Bibles or New Testaments (HCSB version). Bring items to the Gatlinburg Convention Center on Friday or Saturday.
The Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions helps to support the work of TN CWJC/CMJC.
