Executive Leadership

The Executive Leadership Group serves the Tennessee Baptist Convention and its Executive Board in the coordination of duties and responsibilities assigned to the Executive Board. Their assignment includes the handling of Cooperative Program and designated funds, the preserving of Executive Board records, and the administration of Executive Board personnel. Also, much of the group’s activity is in response to the assigned tasks of both the Annual Convention and Executive Board Committees.		Randy Davis,  Executive Director-Treasurer
In carrying out the above mentioned responsibilities, the Executive Leadership Group seeks to fulfill legal requirements of the Executive Board and the Convention in keeping with the Convention's Constitution and Bylaws. As leader of the group, the executive director-treasurer is responsible first to communicate his understanding of God's leadership for the group and its ministry. He further functions to receive and dispense funds and to provide staff assistance to Convention and Executive Board committees. The executive director-treasurer enjoys a relationship with all Tennessee Baptists, especially pastors, church staffers, and directors of missions. He is the Tennessee Baptist Convention's representative in relationships with other Baptist bodies and to other denominations.
